Ok, so I searched my a$s off and didn't find an answer. I'm thinking about painting my engine cover and the two battery covers. I found that I need to sand it down for the paint to stick, but my question is, what sandpaper, what primer and what paint did you guys use for this? How many coats? If you could give me an exact brand and kind of the paint I would really appreciate it. And another thing, my car is DG, but I was thinking about going completely away from the outside and make it like lambo orange, or bright green or something crazy like that. Would that look odd? I think it'd be awesome, like "WOW" effect when you open the hood? Rice or Sweet?
