Sideview Mirror Replacement

So I got the APR Convex Blue Tinted Side View Mirrors...but they are just supposed to stick onto the current side view mirrors (no way I'm doing that, ghetto)...

So I want to remove the side view mirror and replace it. The OEM side view mirror has this black plastic holder and it seems to attach to the module in the back....any way of replacing JUST the lenses?

You could remove the OEM glass and stick the convex mirror to the plastic backing behind the glass, which will make the mirror stick out a little bit less, but it still won't tuck under the plastic trim like the stock glass as it is cut smaller than the OEM glass and its also curved.

cool thanks lude97 for the info. That's better than just sticking it to the OEM glass though....am I correct that I have to remove the door panels and get to the three bolts hold in the side view mirror that way?
