Price to paint/install? Deal or dud?

SoooOO I bought a polyurethane front lip from ebay and wanted to get it painted to match my DG coupe. I went to a local paint shop chain and they said it would be 250 to paint and install. I didn't really want to go to them because of the semi crappy job they did on my first car. So I went to another guy that has a small shop and said he would paint it and install for 100. So I jumped on it.

Question is, did I get a good deal? He had it painted in about a day and the color is a exact match to my DG. He used the hardware that I got when I bought it and it was pretty much a exact fit. I'm thinking about going back to him to put on future exterior mods but only if I didn't get jacked. The guy actually sold me my first car (98 altima) and I think I can sort of trust him.

If I got jacked, how much should I have paid?

a decent paint job on a bumper would have run you anywhere from $300-$350....post some picture of your bumper ....i am curious to see how it turns out...where are you located?

^^^ he was talking about the lip only not the whole bumper so I think a 100 bucks is a pretty good deal.

$250 would have been a good deal for the install. $100 is a steal...paint and materials alone should have been $100.

it's probably just the light in the pics, but the color seems to be a lot lighter than the bumper, looks great tho.
