Lambo doors can look good actually it'll look better on the G then most other cars due to the size of our doors. However like everyone mentioned the downside is the weight of our door makes it either very difficult for an average sized person to operate and impossible for their lady friend to work it.. but enough talk heres a good looking coupe

Amistad Type-C's before anyone asks.. Everytime I post pix of this car I get bombed with PMs

Things to consider
1. You'll want a door kit that'll "flare" out like JT EVO's kit or else you risk hitting our A-Pillar and cracking it every time you use it.
2. Over time you will bend the fender out and like others have stated depending on its use (and misuse) you can bend the frame
3. Your GF/wife will never be able to open these doors.. if "she" can.... what you call your boyfriend is another topic of discussion..
Sam got rid of his doors for a reason.

Where were all these people when pictures of balla's car were posted? I believe his car, including his lambo doors, got nothing but love. But then a new person inquires about doing this mod and everyone turns up their nose.

When I see members asking this question, I generally assume the car is otherwise stock or very mildly modded. Vertical doors are too wild in this case (IMO).

Balla's car, on the other hand, is far more extreme and can pull it off more so than any other car I've seen on this site. Balla's vertical doors are not the main attraction of his ride. The paint is. Most every other G I've seen with vertical doors was very lightly modded. It seemed as if they wanted the vertical doors for the attention. With that said, I would like balla's car much more without the vertical doors (and smoked headlights).

And I hate it when people BS about having to park in tight spaces and say that vertical doors will make it easier to get in and out of the car.

The best part about getting a car and modding it, is the individuality of expression, you should never do or not do anything just cuz of what other people think or will say about it. I say do it!! and do it right.

I love that pic with the Honda and Lambo.

I will agree with Klumzyee that they can look good on a car that has some style to it. I can't stand seeing a guy with stock wheels, stock suspension, stock body and lambo doors.

That G also looks good because he's the only one with them up. When you go to a show and there are 5 cars or trucks in a row with them, it's bad. We had a show a couple of weeks ago and there were like 3 of 5 Titans with them, just didn't look right.

What does authentic vs rep have to do with it? Obviously the kenstyle rear wasn't made to be subtle or clean, but rather wild/aggressive/ricey, which is the same crowd that enjoys lambo doors. They both try to make the car look like other more expensive cars.

Hai doesn't dislike the Kenstyle rear because there are too many [replicas] out there.

Sam is older and wiser now. Ask him to put vertical doors on again.

haha how come i always get dragged into these threads haha....

i have no problem admitting that the doors are a dumb. They are cool for about a week when your showing off to your friends then real life kicks in and when you want to go out and valet you car, have fun explaining how to open and close and have fun watching the valet driver mess up on the way back.
Car washes are the same way.
dealership services.
Any shop you leave it at.
when your friends want to get somthing out of the car and they forget about the doors.
the list goes on and on....

I also do feel that the doors should only be on a kitted car or somthing modified.

I would take them off if i wasnt sponsored so if i dont gain any weight i can still fit through the door without opening the up.

Hope that help clear up things....

LOL i noticed the same thing.

i can only imagine how much of a PITA it would be to have to remind EVERYONE how to open your doors. you send a friend to get something out of your car and he forgets that you have vertical doors and you hear "oops!"
