1 dome light on the fritz

Hi guys,

Anyone every experience this? I replaced my interior dome lights with some hyperwhites and they seem to be good bulbs, but for some reason the passenger side one doesn't want to cooperate. It seems to only work when the car has been sitting in the sun for a while, while I'm at work or the beach. Not sure if this is actually affecting it - but it very rarely works at night or in the morning. The bulb obviously isn't burnt out, seems more like a bad connection or something. Is there a fuse for each dome light?

Thanks for any input.
Scott

BTW-I replaced the bulb once already with a new one, and it's still acting the same way.

So what turned out to be the issue? Neither of my stock lights are working. How did you get the cover off? A butterknife? Which side of the light do you pop out? I can't tell.

Okay so this is buggin the heck outta me. So I'm driving along and I reach to the rear right to turn the reading light on back there and when I flip the switch one way my front left dome light comes on. What the heck? I try to see if it will work for the front right so I flip the rear left, but nothing happens with the front right. I hope there's no a short somewhere. Anyone ever have this happen? Is there something about the way these lights work that I'm missing?
