Non-suck LEDs

Is there any definitive answer on a provider of non-crappy LEDs? I bought a set awhile back from a pretty common site (can't remember the name) that were "white" but ended up being some crazy blue/white color that made my HIDs look lame... and the bulbs were slightly too big to fit into the g35 headlights without "modification", so needless to say I was a bit disappointed. One of them "burned out" this weekend, so I thought I'd bring it up.

Anyone score some low-profile LEDs that are roughly the same color as our HIDs?

And before I get blasted, yes, I've searched high and low.

Its going to be hard to find white LEDs that will match the stock 4300K HID bulb. Most LED's are in the Kelvin range of about 6000K.

Anyways, in terms of quality, I have never had an issue with V-Leds.

Yeah, something different than the 10 billion kelvin LEDs I have now would be fine.
They don't need to match perfectly, but I just don't want them to make the headlights look bad, you know?

i got some V-Leds, too. good quality but their "white" bulbs still look blueish next to our hids. i had one bulb blow out after a week and v-leds replaced it w/ no question.

I've had no issues with V-LEDs. Had all my bulbs almost a year and they're great.

They look a lot less "blue" next to my projector stock bulbs than they did next to my '04 headlight bulbs.

They did also have some "warm white" leds that they described as 3000k to 4800k in color temperature, which would theoretically be the same as our HIDs (which are 4500k ish?)... unfortunately I don't think those are offered in the right size for what I need.

I bet those UV LEDs would look sick if done right...

i have 8000k HIDs in some 06 projectors and the Vled i bought matches pretty damn close.......as far as for 4300k...none of the vleds i have purchased would be a good match..... most of them seem to have a hint of blue...

I went ahead and ordered some wedge-base bulbs from v-leds... we'll see how they turn out. I got a few sets of the white bulbs and a couple sets of UV just to check them out . Also got a pair of bulbs for the "courtesy lights" (bottom of doors), so hopefully that will work.

Pics to follow... *pause for shipping*
