They are not too thick, they are exactly the thickness needed so they don't look like a cheap piece of fiberglass, the edge is beveled, if it were any thinner it would need to be cut and you would see the raw fiberglass along the edge.

Here is a closeup picture of the edge of the eyelids with a quarter underneath for thickness reference



You can't get any thinner then that. Your only other option for something thinner is the vinyl overlays that bluebat offers.

I have the same exact type of eyelids installed on my car and I love them, believe me I'm a very picky person.

I'll have them installed sometime this week on my '06 DG coupe.

Just bought a set of front eyelids painted diamond graphite, picking up some double sided 3M tape tonight.
