Hey,

I want to get my front windsheild tinted soon, nothing crazy, just 50%.

One thing I don't understand though, is how do I put the inspection and registration stickers on the windsheild? I was thinking about getting them laminated?, or just removing the glue, and taping them on.

I know people on here have tinted windsheild, what do you do?

I dont recommend it I have had over 500$ in fines due to mine. I am going to be pulling all the tint off my car

 

^ Really, I have seen a few cars with 50% tint on the windsheild, and you really cant tell that its there.

I think im going to get my stickers laminated and tape them on.

 

I have 35% on mine. I LOVE it, but I do live in Oklahoma... much more freedom here in the midwest.

 

i have 50% on mine for awhile and im in s. ca....

YOU sir, is crazy...lol, Phil (Swagger) has 30% on his windshield, 5% all around. I seriously don't know how you guys get away with that in socal.

 

ive got the same combo, its great i love it!!

about you stickers i would put them on the glass and then put the tint over the top of them cause they will be harder to see behind the tint and the cops would then know that your windshield is tinted.

 

tint over them sticker sir...u wont pass inspection with the damn thing tinted ne way so ull have to remove depending on your inspection laws. u need a medical exemption form like i have =], 35% solargard on the windshield FTW!

 

I have 20% all the way around and 35% down the windshield here in FL... Never been stopped...

Wife has a pathfinder with 35% down the windshield as well..

As far as the stickers... My wife has to have a sticker where she works. I just taped it with regular scotch tape in the lower corner and worked ok...

 

If your doing it for heat then just get a good 70-75% film. There are many out there that will keep out the same amount of heat as 35%. Just cost a lot more.

 

50% REFLECTIVE!!!! HAD IT FOR 1YR. I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

 

I had 30% on my car, all around. Looked awsome, fines were very costly.

 

shoot im debating on my windshild, out here in san jose,ca cops are dic*s i had 5 of my windows at 5% 2nd week i got them i got a ticket.. still havent took care of it .. also had a few tickets in my last car and that was 5% rears and 20% 2 front windows..i wanna get 50% on my front windshield.. ehh will see what happens.. i juz dont like the theifs to look in ... aswell for sunshade/ privacy.

 

35% on the windshield, and 20% all the way around for me! go TN!
