Good or Bad Tint Job? Dot Matrix Application

I don't think the installer did anything "special"; just simply tinted over it. No clear glue or sanding. This is the first time I've ever had a car of mine tinted. The film is Johnson Window Films Greystone 30.

The tint was applied last Saturday here in the Seattle area.

Thoughts on the job?

that looks good. really good, actually.
At the areas where you see dots, there is no way to get film to stick.

when tinting there is no glue or sanding us used.

Looks like pretty clean job. Nothing to worry about imo.

A good tinter can get it to stick to the dot matrix. Mine does in 99% of the areas

I'd like to see as well. I'm new to tinting, so I'm just trying to educate myself on what an appropriate job should look like so I can raise any concerns if necessary.

My initial thought was that the job wasn't a bad job at all; just trying to see if it's a good job.

I found the following when trying to see if the Dot Matrix application was good or not, and I think mine looks closer to a good job, at least according to this tint shop/site:

Looks like yours is somewhere inbetween, certainly not the worst I've seen, but mine is like the lower picture
