Under engine cover
has anyone removed the cover??? the under tray to keep the engine clean......because mine is pretty much worn out and the front part where it screws onto the front bumper are all gone so every time i go 80mph the wind will force it down and i can hear it scraping the floor
so has anyone just completely removed it and have no problem because i have a CAI and i'm sort of afraid that if i completely remove the under tray that i can hydro lock the car way to easily and i don't want to go to the dealership to find out that they'll fix it for like 1000$ (have not really ask dealership yet)

There are a few folks on here who have removed their undertray. You'll get a little more dust & debris in the engine compartment, but will probably be OK. I'd be careful running a CAI in Houston, however, regardless of whether you have the undertray on or not (too much rain / low-lying water).
If you want to replace it, just call your local parts department. If you want some bling, PM zackt69 / rarejdm - he sells aluminum ones.

I had mine off for a week or so when I changed my radiator hoses. I changed them out one weekend and changed the oil the next so I figured I would wait to put it back on. The cover (at least the front part) is there to direct airflow through your radiator/AC condensor. Without the cover you will have less airflow going through them. I didn't have any cooling problems and ambient air was in the 90°F that week. As stated previously, you will get a little more dirt/dust in the engine bay.
