The fitment around the tail lights looks ****ing horrible. It's not even smooth 
Instead of people putting park benches on their trunks now, they are putting swimming pools! Someone's gotta take a pic of a rubber ducky floating on this thing. Lmao, I kid, I kid.
But srsly. Would acid rain or something being puddled up in this thing cause it to fade, or discolor quicker? I mean, what if it rains on the way to work, and for 30min after you're there it fills with water- then it clears up and becomes sunny and 90*F (probably 120+ on that black CF) for the 8-10 hours it's sits there. Seems like the clearcoat would take a beating.

That would be the infamous Asuka trunk that was never made into production. The MG2 is a re-vamped version of the Asuka trunk but like it was pointed out a much smoother transition from the spoiler to the trunk. Those pictures are over a year old and the mold for that trunk was junked.
However, on a good note. Both Asuka and Mastergrade are working on new parts for your G's. Including a new Asuka g35 coupe hood, Mastergrade roof cap, Mastergrade MG2 trunk, and Mastergrade TS diffuser.
