Custom Front License Plate Mount

Hey Guys,

Got pulled for a no front plate this morning. I am looking for the best custom mount that uses the tow hook and doesn't require drilling. Anyone have any recommendations?

Thanks

If you just want a temporary fix so you can get the ticket dismissed, you can make on EASY for like $4 at Lowes. Go to the Porch/Deck dept. and look for the little metal joints. There will be one thats just a small piece about 1" thick and 12" long, pretty thin, with holes on both ends. Get some bolts/nuts to mount your front LP to them. On the bottom of the front bumper there are screws that hold on the scrape guard. Take the two center screws out and put through the bottom holes on the metal joints and screw back into the same holes. Then attach the LP to the top of the metal joints and bend it up about 90 degrees. Its super easy, takes all of 5 minutes, and less than 5 bucks. It also is legally a "permanent fixture to the front bumper" which is what the law requires. So all those people with it in their windshield are dumb...lol Ive gotten 3 "no front plate" tix and just slap this on, and its dismissed every time. Cause I refuse to drill holes in my nismo bumper....haha If you want I will send you some pics to get a better idea of what I mean. Its just the easiest fix for a front LP I have seen out there.

The 2 times I've gotten a no plate ticket, the cops actually grabbed the plate and checked to make sure it was bolted on properly when I went to get it signed off. I think if it was held on with a paper clip they would have yanked it right off. Not saying they're gonna do that... they could just look at it and sign off, just letting you know that it's a possibility.

99% are so lazy they dont even bother to get that close to vehicle. I even had on cop sign it off inside the office after he asked me "you got the plate on now?"
