tail light painting
well i did my headlights..with the help of some other diy members input..i figured the tail lamps were the same..was i wrong?...i totally ruined my driver side tail lamp..they wouldnt come apart..and the lense started to melt and became warped...did i do something wrong?..i baked it at 280 for 10mins..any suggestions?

A type of epoxy cement is used to attach the lense to the housing unlike the silicon sealant they use for the headlights.. The only way to get the taillight apart is to dremel all the way around the housing part, make changes that you want and use something like JB weld to attach the two pieces back together.
