On my passenger side when lifting the hood up the corner hits the fender and is causing the paint to chip. When the hood is down the gap is consistant on each side. It is almost like the pass. side hinge lifts at the wrong angle. The car has never been in an accident. Any suggestions?

 

Mine is doing the same thing. It's annoying, because now the paint on the fender is all chipped.

 

there is a known issue with the hood hinges bending and needing replacement

 

I'm having the same issues on my pass. side. I hate that crap

 

It looks a lot worse in person.
