Seibon Carbon Fiber Hood Install Question

Just looking for a good answer to a question figure I would throw it out to the open since some people are very busy and cant give me a reply back.

Does anyone know what type of thread pattern screw it takes to put into the slots of the Seibon Carbon Fiber Hoods in order to mount it to the car? I think the shop that was trying to do it must have kept the ones that 1. either came with the hood, which I doubt, or 2. used ones they usually use for customers who have brought them cf hoods before and just had on hand.

Its a hour and a half drive round trip to the shop so thats out and I just want to do it myself.

Any help is appreciated. I am guessing once I know the size and thread pattern I can just pick it up at a AAMCO or NAPA or something like that.

Thanks,
ZRug

Stock Screws
You don't need special screws to mount the seibon cf hood to the car

The seibon hood comes with studs just like the factory hood.

Reuse the factory nuts and your good

^+1 and then you may have to align your hood latch as well. Dont forget to purchase some hood pins to keep your hood secure.

Out of the wrapper my brand new Seibon Hood did not come with studs. That's why I am asking such questions to the community to see who would know dimesions of the thread based studs so that I might try and go purchase them somewhere.

I am new but I ain't that new to not realize about using the supplied materials.

I am hoping someone could suggest something to help me out.

Thanks.

Scratch the q & a. I just called Seibon and then they got a hold of the vendor who wouldn't answer my emails and long story short they are sending me the studs. So, just gonna wait a few days.

Sorry for thread resurrection.......BUT seibon is telling my distributer that studs do not come with TS hood for G35?!?

Heard their customer service sucked-long-time....but the studs are needed I'm pretty sure.

With a plain bolt....the hood is hitting the stock radiator support......I have adjusted the latch upwards by dremeling out holes as much as possible.

Read in other threads about trying spacers in the rear hinges to get more clearance......
