OK to Replace Stock Halogens with Stock Xenons?

Re: OK to Replace Stock Halogens with Stock Xenons?
Well, I just replaced my stock halogens with the stock HIDs. Just unpluged the halogens and plugged in the HID units and it works great. I first checked the voltages to make sure they matched up and they do. There is an extra ground wire that the halogens use that the HIDs don't, but that didn't matter. Had to remove the front grill, the fender protectors, and the top of the bumper, but it was pretty easy to do. I didn't have to take the wheel off, just turned the wheel so I could get to all of the fasteners. Thanks for the help.

Great news!! How much did it set you back? When I asked the dealer
how much to change my halogens to HIDs, they told me $6000.
Where did you get the new HIDs?
2003 TwBlue 5AT Sedan, sunroof,
Graphite Leather, splashguards, HKS muffler,
14 wire Grounding kit, 350Z duct, Stillen HF/AB
Underbody rear diffusers, Drilled alum pedals

I got mine on ebay. Took a while and some patience though. They come up pretty regularly, but many want too much for them. I paid around $160 for each one. I thought that this might be a long term project and just decided to wait until good deals came up.
