I was talking to the OP, but anyone can chime in and answer the questions. i was mostly wondering if people used an LED strip, or made their own board

 

I just used individual leds and used resistors on every 3 leds in series the strip would be a great idea because then you wouldnt have to measure every gap i had a hard time getting every led the exact same distance apart. Idint do the leds around the projector because i didnt have enough raw mini leds to do the job a for it to look good. but i may do it later on maybe with ultra violet leds.

After comparing the 04 headlights versus 06+
Is it even possible to put LED's on the 04 headlights? The design of the clearance strip looks different from the 06+
