My G can with the factory spoiler...but now i wanna take it off...anybody no how to take it off?? Is their gonna be any holes??

 

i tried. its hard as ****. esp. if it came from the factory, there's like 6-7 screws (most of them of which you cant even get to once you take the trunk lid lining off) and on top of that, they use an assload of 3m tape to stick it on there. you'll end up ruining your trunk by denting it when you rip it off assuming you can get all of the screws out. but i dont think thatll matter cuz youre gonna have to repatch the holes and paint it anyways so i guess the bodyshop couldnt straighten that out... so if you dont want the spoiler, theres only one thing id recommend you do - TRUNK SWAP. =) thats what i did.

You have a few screws that you can see once you have taken the trunk liner off.
Massive amounts of double sided tape which can be taken off without any dents with
either dental floss or piano wire.

Then you have about 6-7 Plastic clips holding it down.
Not necessarily in that order.
Yes you will have holes from the screws and clips.




You can barely see it in these pics.
Anything white is clips i counted 2 on each end
and 2 in the middle for a total of 6

 

I tried...unsuccessfully.

It's installed with double sided tape and several nuts & bolts - a few of which are nearly impossible to get to!
