what's the main difference between the 05 and lower vs the 06 and up? Was it the amber piece in the head light? I had found a head light on ebay

however the guy said it doesn't come with computer? I was wondering what they meant by this? Does anyone have a better place to purchase the newer head lights? the headlights on my 2005 are worn and looking pretty ugly.

 

2006+ have a chrome/polished finish, they do not have the clearance strip lights on the side, and the tops are projectors.
By computer, I'm guessing he means the ballasts.

FYI: He is only selling one headlamp.

will my bulbs in my 05 lights work with the 06? what all do i need to change to convert my 05 to 06?

 

The upper bulbs are different, the 05 has a D2R, the 06 has a D2S

 

is it just a matter of changing the bulb or is it a different harness?

 

Just the bulb. I think the only difference between the two bulbs is the D2R has a strip over the bulb that partially covers it and the D2S doesn't.

 

Doesn't someone here do a conversion to add clearance strips to the 06+ lights?

If so I'm interested in getting more info on that. I have a set I'm going to install soon (once I get my Nism0 front bumper)
