lol and back in the days everyone was hot over kenstyle

 

The only 3 rears I would EVER consider (in terms of 'aftermarket')....

1) Chargespeed (because I have it) with either black/CF diffuser
2) INGS+1 molded with either black/CF diffuser
3) OEM rear, molded splash guards with either black/CF diffuser

I can count on one hand how many car's I've seen with the kenstyle rear that actually look good. Johnmilkens, caskyline, um........ well that's about it. I'm not a big fan and would think either a nismo diffuser or chargespeed would be your best option.

This is not bad for a kenstyle when the holes are filled in



I'm also sort of a fan of impul rear! If you mold the molding in, I best it would look hot!!

 

seriously. Everyone here just likes to follow to crowd. Everyone on here who used to be on the forum way back when who says they hate the KS rear now, I'll bet that if I search your old posts, I'll find something that said you used to like the KS rear. And I'll bet when something better comes out, they'll probably say that the chargespeed is rice as well. lol.

Don't get me wrong or anything, both KS rear and CS rear are both nice. But like chinabean said, the majority of this forum used to think the KS was the $#!t...before the Altima coupe came out.

 

Wasn't around love enough to EVER like the KS Only FEW cars have pulled it off, but in general I very much dislike it. I've been like that since day 1

IMO, even the stock bumper with splash guards looks better than the Kenstyle.

 

Honestly ON, most the people I talk to since being on here and going to the meets don't like it. People are nicer online!
Not saying it can't be pulled of but less than a hanful have been able to!

Very true, things tend to go in and out with people on here. The z-tube/PC set up used to be the most hyped intake combo, then it was the Stillen, now we have an army of people that insist of stock airbox. The KS kit in general gets a lot of flack, and I'm one of the people who have changed their minds. I bought a KS rear maybe 3 years ago and never put it on. Now with my 2nd G35, I'm keeping my stock splashguard rear and picking up a Nismo diffuser when a good deal comes along.

Im glad I didnt read up on peoples opinion before I got mine...I just went off pictures! I saw what was out and got what I thought was dope end of story. Once you start listening to everyone else you start to go in the direction as to what the "crowd" likes. My car is mine...not the crowds. Going to the lengths to say its rice gets on my nerves though...especially when you have people who put on Lambo doors, fake red stripes on wheels, overlay roofs, overlay tails and carbon fiber everywhere on their car! That $hit looks like rice to me...but its their car...do you and be happy!

we don't need anymore kenstyle bumpers on the street. there's more than enough to last a lifetime, maybe 2 or 3 lifetimes for that matter.
