Any product out there that can fix keyed marks?

I just found out that my G got keyed...When I saw it this morning, i was so ****ing mad! It's from a little bit of the door and across the whole fender. I can't believe this! ahh why would someone do that? G35's are quite common, where i live...so it's not like it stands out that much. my car is all stock too. Last time someone dinged my rear panel...above the wheel...so that can't be fixed. Why are people so careless or an *******? I've only had this car for 7 or 8 months.

Anyways, Is there any products that I can buy to fix this? or any techniques to do this? Please help me, I don't want it to be so visible. I can't afford to paint it either...

i have a key scratch too! Friggen haters out there. when i run my fingernail to it it actually can get caught in it so mines is pretty deep.

the only way to fix this is to use wetsand and paint. It's really hard and you need alot of practice 1st. Theres a DIY here somewhere here. Anyway i'm going to see how much infiniti will charge for a repair like this.

btw, when i 1st got my car, someone stuffed cake in my grill. who ever that is, i hope karma gets them back.

if you want to try to hide it a bit, what i did was wash my car and claybar'ed my car and then added wax over it. it'll sort of hide it a bit.

If it's not through the clear coat, you can "wet sand" it smooth and polish it out. If it goes through the clear coat, it's a lot harder. If it goes through the paint to the primer, you need touch up paint. If it goes further than that, get it fixed under your comprehensive (other than collision) coverage of your insurance.

As for what to try, I used "5 minute scratch remover", got it at Walmart an it worked as advertized. My scraches were not through the clear coat.

They make a full line of this stuff.

Damn so I went to a shop...tried to ask the owner if he can wet sand it and all the stuff needed to get rid of the scratch..he said it's too deep and the only way to fix it is to repaint is. Ahh this is real ****ing sad, i've only had the car for like 8 months. He said that the paint job for the fender is $250 and the door is $300...i also asked for the front bumper because it has so many white specs from the rocks and that's like $300. Anybody know anywhere cheaper and does a good job? I'm in so cal...san gabriel valley to be exact. This really sucks...i have to pay all this money because someone keyed my car...not even my own fault.

You can have it:

Good
Fast
Cheap

Pick two....

No, that sound like a fair price for that. Do you have any comprehensive coverage on your insurance?

I'm not too good with understanding everything about insurance. If i do have comprehensive coverage...do i still have to pay my deductible? and also would they raise my rates next year?

Hey Lam...
There are some paint and body shops on the corner of Valley Blvd. and Turnbull Canyon Road that are pretty good. I used them when I lived in LA, they did a good job on my mustang.

That's the beauty of comprehensive or "other than collision" coverage; collision usually has a high deductible, 500-1000 dollars, however, comprehensive usually has a low deductible, 50-100 dollars.

When I hit a deer in my van, it did $5500 worth of damage to it. I paid the $50 deductible and it didn't even affect my rates.

Wow that sounds like a really good deal! hmm i should check it out and ask my insurance. If I do get my fender and door painted... do you think it's possible for me to get my front bumper painted too cause of the rock chips? or would they only paint whatever my damage is?
