How much did you pay for sideskirts paint & install

Hi All,

With the economy the way it is, I'm looking to have my newly acquired Greddy Sideskirts painted and installed for a reasonnable price. But I don't want it to look like s**t either.

How much did you guys pay for sideskirts paint and install?

Thanks
Ollie

About $500 to get my Impul sides painted and put on, they did a terrible job too. Kind of regret not shopping around more, but I just don't have the time and wanted it done right at a reputable shop. Turned out their reputation wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

Damn, this seems pretty cheap to me. So that included all the prep work as well?

Yup, all pieces were brand new, except the rear KS, which they stripped and reglassed cause it was real wavy(charged an extra 100 for reglassing). Did a great job of fitment and paint match to my CB. Heres the link to what it looked like when I picked it up.

I did shop around within reason, this is the MD/DC/VA area so prices are inflated, you'd be hard pressed to find a reputable shop here to put on even a front bumper for less than $450 and do a good job.

And actually I say they did a bad job but that's because I'm super **** about my car, there is a slight 1cm gap for about 4 inches in front of the driver side door, hardly noticeable but it drives me crazy.

Well, I go them painted and installed for $225. This was just wet sanded and painted.

Here is a pic:

Let me know what you think.

Also, the skirts are fiberglass and even with wet sanding, they were still a little "Wavy". It's only noticeable up close but it tends to bug me. Was I supposed to have the shop "bondo" them before paint?
I'd be interested to know because I might have my car repainted when I get a lower front bumper and have the car entirely the same color instead of 3-4 different shades of KY0.

^^ looks kind of weird because the side skirts are significantly lower than the fronts and rears
