I bought my 04 G35 Coupe at 54K mileage.
I do hear noises from time to time when on the road bumps:
1. from the exterior( Passenger-side on the back, metal, rattling.
2. Interior( central roof on the back, plastic?, squeaking)
I have been trying to figure out where they are coming from but have been unsuccessful.
The 60K service is coming in fast and I was thinking I ask whoever does it to look into the noise issue.
I am not sure if independent service shops can resolve a noise issue but hate to overpay by going to the dealer, too.
Any advice anyone?

i've got several on my 07. tracked down a few (speaker covers in driver & passenger doors, sunroof, etc) but from what i've read it's just something most Coupe owners have to learn to live with unfortunately.
