Tint Cost / Painted Mirrors
First Question: I'm getting my '06 IP MT tinted this weekend and they quoted me $220 - is that a fair price?
Second: I'm also getting the roof & grille painted black and I was also thinking of getting the mirrors painted black too, anyone got an opionion on the look or some pics of other people who have done so?

tint varies from around 150-300 depending on the place and quality of tint. I paid $160 for mine but my friend knows the guy who works there so I was actually quoted $220 like you. Mine came with a lifetime warranty against bubbles or color change/purpling. I have already had my driver's side replaced for free since a tiny bubble appeared due to the heat. I guess it's not the best quality tint, but with a lifetime warranty, I can't complain

Opinion: I would do it.. Looks great on all the G's Ive seen. Doing the roof on mine as well. I dont have pics for you but there was a few threads about this subject already so if you search it you'll find some good stuff.

seems like a good price if it's done by a reputable shop... if you were to get ceramic, then you'd be paying at least $400 (but more likely around $500)....

in regards to the mirrors i havent seen a painted black on an IP. i saw some carbon but its meh... mines kinda colored matched. lol!

Tint costs vary depending on where you live, having read numerous post
about this subject cost can run from $100 to $250....shop around. I paid
$150 in '04 here in Ca. You never said what color G you have, I'd consider
painting the mirror bases body color but not the mirrors themselves....
