do you need something special to paint it black?

 

Heck no. When I did mine I sanded the entire grille with 220 grit, and put on four coats of Dupli Color Bumper Paint...it's a flat black color and looks great! I didn't use primer or anything, although people have recommended that. Here's what I got...

+1. I took my car to the shop today, they took off my grill and told me to pick it up Friday.

 

Don't go emblemless. Really don't like that look. The grille reminds me of a billet grille without the emblem.

 

i saw a blue g37 with the billet and it looked baller....

 

There's a picture of a DG coupe with a billet and I think it looks bad, I guess it can also depend on what color you have. Get whatever you like, not what others like. I posted this pole because I wanted to see peoples opinions on emblemless grill because I've never seen one in person.

 

^^ for sure man.... i think emblemless looks pretty good, for me i chose to black out the grill with a black emblem.. i like to rep the Infiniti at least somewhere

 

paint it black, i did it and it looks way better, i have a DG coupe and painted my rear valence and my front grill black, def looks better IMO
