URGENT: hood install
picked up my Siebon TS CF hood today, got it all put on. but the latch will not grab it. the safety latch grabs but not the main latch. i thought this was suppose to work just like stock and not need hoodpins. i have to goto work soon and don't want to drive it without it being secure.

You'll need to loosen three bolts around the latch to move it up. If that still doesn't give you enough you will need to get a file and file the hole at the top to help it catch - that's what I had to do with my TS.
(been awhile since I did this... but you should be able to figure out what part of the latch you need to file in order for it to work).
Sorry man... but everything is supposed to work "just like stock"... it hardly ever does. That goes for body parts, electronics, anything.
