bumper cover question

A recent incident caused my front OEM bumper to crack wide open, luckily only the bumper cover was damaged. I took the g to a repair shop and was quoted $900 to replace, paint, and install the bumper. I found that price to be outrageous and decided to review my options. I have been looking for a bumper that is similar in quality to the OEM, yet has a cool look and fits. I have been warned about how some aftermarket replacements do not fit. I am asking for some suggestions for an after market bumper or if I should just go with an OEM replacement. I was also wondering about the ease of aftermarket install and if there are some factors I am forgetting when choosing a bumper.

Thanks

I am in a similar situation, only with the rear bumper. And infiniti told me the same. around$900. And I was wondering the same about aftermarket bumpers not fitting correctly and paint not staying one right, etc.
