Well my 3rd Brake light behind my rear window went dead on me. I have to get a state inspection within this month so i just purchased the rear 3rd brake light from Rick@riverside Infiniti. My Infiniti dealership quoted me $160 just to install this..I dont think it should be that hard to install this.

i searched for a DIY on removing the 3rd rear brake light

wow i couldnt believe how easy it was to remove the 3rd brake light behind the rear window.like BEEBO told me said just pull foward towards me and lift up..make sure you fold the rear seats to make it easier..

i cant believe my dealership was going to charge me $160 to install my 3rd BL...it literally took me 2 mins...fcking scumbags!!

 

now where to get a deck lid that doesnt have the hole....

question.. dealer replaced mine under warranty a LONNNGGG time ago.. but they put in non-led 3rd brake light there..

how much is the LED version?

 

i bought the whole 3rd brake light assembly from riverside infiniti for $180 shipped

That would be a pain to swap and hell the dealership told me they wanted 300 for a shelf without the 3rd brake light. **** that
