Can you do this (emblem light)? PIC Inside
Hi.
I was wondering if it is possible to get/make an emblem light that's perhaps wired to the headlights. It's kinda hard to describe so please look at the attached picture which I photoshopped. If this is possible please give me some tips.

Man, that's pretty trippy, here's why....
Quote from internet: ***According to Eastern mysticism, the physiological site of this sixth chakra, the sahasrara, is located in the center of the forehead; it is symbolized by an eye -- the so-called third eye, the inner eye, or the eye of the mind.
When this eye is opened, a new and completely other dimension of reality is revealed to the practitioner of yoga.
Western scholars when they first came upon this literature took the third eye to be an appropriately poetic metaphor for the awakening of awareness of the higher dimensional reality encountered by users of LSD. ***
I think anyone with a limited slip differential (LSD) on their G should get the third eye on their grill...
I bet David Hasselhoff has one!
;-D

So I guess my little light-up emblem idea is not so well received. Maybe I should reconsider... However i don't think it's any more "rice rocket" than an oversized wing, body art, or the skyline logo.
I was more curious about the technical aspect on how this could be done than people's asthetic preferences... but anyways thanks for all the replies.

If you are dead serious about this, there are several options. The quick easy way would be to drill out holes and put LEDs in them. THey will look exactly like your picture... but at that distance. They will look like crap from 10 feet in. Your next option would be to find someplace that can make that logo for you in translucent plastic. THen you can place a simple bulb behind it.

Quick poll to see what you guys think of this faint blue LED I worked under through and under my door handles. None if the light escapes the concave handle and it's just one LED so it's not too bright. Rice or okay? Please advise.
A-puff I know where you're at on this one already, but post if you must/ As long as it's okay with KITT.
