Blacking out the grill w/problem

So I got a spare grill. Sanded it down with 400, then applied 3 layers of primer. Then I hit it with 2 coats of flat black Rust-oleum. In between EVER coat I let it dry for 15 minutes. As I'm doing the 3rd coat of black a big bug landed on one of the slats and messed up the paint.

At this point i'm looking for the best solution from this point to fix it. Will i have any problems sanding it down again?

I'd sand it down lightly with fine 600 grit sandpaper until the bug/blemish is gone and then repaint.
