So what people on here say is simple isnt as simple as the dome lights. Do I need to take the doors off? Do they just pop off? I dont see any screws, but hate pulling hard without knowing whats about to happen

The plastic piece just pops off. I didn't think it was any harder than getting to the dome lights except that its just in a more akward location.

 

They are just as simple as the dome lights. Pry them off with a flat head the same way you would with the dome light lenses. +1 to villain's comment, just in an awkward location...gotta get on the floor and dirty.

 

Yeah that wasnt so bad, hope the license plate light is just as easy.

The super white look a lot bluer than I expected, I dont know if that color will be legal for the license plate light since it is on while driving.

 

License plate lights are probably even easier than the domes since you need only your bare hands, no need for a flathead.

LED color depends on where you get 'em and their quality.
There are numerous vendors on here and good websites that are selling quality pure white LEDs.
You just need to know where to look.
