uhh, cuz the clear corners are only made in Japan and thus the name JDM - Japanese Domestic Market. they have to be imported. Duh, haha.

i think your thinking the OEM, we have OEM corners on our cars that are amber, but use JDM clear corners to replace the OEM corners. get it?

uhh, we never said that we had OEM clear corners on our cars. we know that they are JDM. Nissan is JDM and and Nissan makes the clear corners. our G's that come over here from the Japanese Domestic Market become OEM cars as we resell them here. thus, anytyhing that comes off our cars (the amber corners) is OEM TO us. thus, in order to get the clear corners, which are made by NISSAN are only made by Nissan in Japan. hence, the acronym "JDM." thus, clear corners ARE JDM and not originally on our cars in the first place, thus, not considered OEM either

your confusing JDM and OEM here in the states. we consider our G parts as OEM because they are originally on the car. therefore, replace the word JDM with OEM. I know what Hondas2k is saying... I'm not sure what JDM means exactly... I know it means Japan Domestic Market and I'm sure we are all in agreement with that... The question is, is this term used when refering to what is OEM for Japan, or something different? I was under the impression that it refers to OEM for the Japan market...

Now, if it refers to anything manufactured in Japan, then there sure are a lot of JDM parts floating around here... Are our tail lights JDM? They are manufactured in Japan, correct? My car was manufactured in Japan, but I know it's definitely not a JDM spec car...

Since the Skyline doesn't come with the clears in Japan and they don't come on the G35 here in the states, who's to say if they are manufactured for the Japan or US market? Does clear automatically mean it's for Japan, hence they are called JDM? Hm... I personally started to beleive they were for the Euro spec cars, but I don't know... I really don't care either, but I'm interested in exactly what JDM refers to now...

anything that is originally on our cars from when buy it stock is considered OEM. anything that is modified to enhance the car that is made in Japan (clear corners) are considered JDM when shipped here for sale. thus, no, our taillights are not JDM, we consider them to be OEM because they are part of the original design from our cars
