Would like your opinion on my next purchase.

I have a little extra spending money coming up on the 15th of August and I would like to get an idea of what you think of some of the purchases I am thinking of getting. Sorry for the long thread.

I have an 05 BO Coupe 6MT. I am in Nor-Cal, some of you may have seen me at the TNT BBQ. Anyways, this what I am thinking about.

Option 1. MG2 Carbon Fiber Rear Trunk and OEM CF Hood

Option 2. Injen Super SES exhaust. (I like the sound on this from what I have heard on this exhaust of them all for the price. If I could get the HKS for $1000, I would jump all over it, but, of the ones I have reviewed this seems to be a respectable one. This is based on DAYS, AND DAYS of post readings on exhausts )

Option 3. MREV2, Polished Upper Plenum from SxExCx, Polished Throttle body.

Option 4. Megan Racing Seats (I see alot of Sparco, Recaro and Bride seats, but I have not read much on this forum about Megan seats. If you have some information or reviews, that would be great.), Megan Street Series Coil-overs

So, I am essentially letting fate and members of this forum help me decide. Thanks for taking a look.

I am leaning towards 1 or 2 myself but cleaning up the suspension is really appealing. There is a DIY on CoilOver install on this forum that I have reviewed and saved off. I have had some good luck with doing all my own installs to this point based on what I can find in searches on the site so I may give it a try.

I don't have any recent images of the engine since my upgrades. You can check out more in my gallery or at my CarDomain location.

I just recently got rid of the spoiler and put on an 06 spoiler but I like the cleaner look of no spoiler or edge done on the MG style trunks. Just a thought.

#3 if you go to shows and meets or #2 but i wouldn't trust MG products but thats just me.

Why not go for this in full CF?

I have seen this post and think this may be one of the sickest trunks I have seen, but not sure on the cost to try and get it full CF. I have heard mixed reviews about MG as well but from what I have read, I am hoping it was something just in early releases of the trunk and that they have addressed it.

Thanks for the feedback.

Those are some tough choices, and the direction you take definitely depends on what you plan to do with your car (show, dd, weekend, etc).

If you're going performance route, just get mrev2 + spacer and coilovers.

Really depends on your preference though. If you're going for exterior looks first, then defintely option 1, but substitute the MG2 with the HikkataDori half CF trunk.

^^
Those are perspectives that I had not organized, so now that you mention it:
I will have to consider goals.

1. DD (Daily Driver) - This is my grocery getter so I need to keep that in mind and consider that my first priority.
2. Show - I don't mind admitting that I may have Show over Go at this point. I like the looks the G gets while I am driving.
3. Of course, who wouldn't want a little Go , that can just get costly to do it right.

I have been drooling over the HikkataDori trunk since I saw it posted. May be a bit out of my price range, but we shall see. Decisions, Decisions
