I'm going to be removing my eyelids to put on my new headlights.. My question is what kind of double sided tape should u use to put them back on??is the 3m tape good enough?? Thanks

 

i picked up some 3m heavy duty double sided tape from home depot and mine are stuck on good

I have the ionic lids which are a little thinner. I used the same thing as Cal. 3M heavy duty and they aren't going anywhere.

 

Where on the eye lid did you put the tape?

 

I would say down the whole middle but not wide enough so it can be seen on the sides or top..Trim it so it contours the lines but just skinny..That's what I'm thinking would work.. Didn't actually try it yet..

 

Random question - you mentioned the ionic being a bit thinner... Which would you say is better? Thinner v Thicker...

I was just browsing that thread and I'm def looking to buy a pair!

I'm thinking of buying eyelids as well. I don't know how I feel about them on the taillights but would it look uneven only having them on the headlights?

 

No way they look great without the rear ones.. The rear ones look stupid..
