I decided that it looked better with the center stripe black, so I painted it matte black. Just need the Infiniti logo now to complete it (picking it up tomorrow).

Heh heh I also noticed my front rims turning into "gunmetal" rims. I was waiting to wash it after I install the grill and will do it in a couple of days now the grill is done.
Man, it's only been about a week since I washed my G and the brake dust sure builds up fast!

OK, here's my Gialla grill in it's final form with the emblem. I really like it a lot with the emblem and it was definitely the right decision to paint that center strip black.
Thanks for all your comments!

Actually i like the stock grill more, i always think the gialla grill looks too much like Civic. Stock grill makes the car more classy and elegant if you ask me.

i tried putting the stock grille on one day just cuz i wanted to but i ended up putting the gialla grille back on because the stock grille looked weird to me (too much chrome). I guess i just got used to seeing my car with the gialla grille.

Yeah, the reason I wanted to change the grill is because the stock one has too much chrome for me. Plus I'm not a huge fan of those bumps on the chrome grill. I didn't think it looked bad, but I wished for something a little more sporty looking. I think the Gialla grill turned out well for what I wanted.

Hey is your logo the stock one off of the OEM grill or did you have to go and get a new one? If so how did you mount it on the Gialla....I have the same setup and was wondering how you did yours.

ya...i want the gialla grill on my black coupe as well...unless i can find a way to black out the stock grill....any kind soul wanna point me to the right direction? =)
I got a G35 trunk logo from an Infiniti dealership. I had doubts about how long the logo would stay on the grill, but so far so good. That's some seriously strong adhesive behind that logo! I'm pretty confident that it'll stay on for a long while. It's not budging after you stick it on the grill.
