Really could use some help
Hi gang. I haven't been around here much since I first got my 2004 G35 in February.
I got my G35 with about 100k miles on it, so it has. . . well, been around the block a bit.
I've pulled my car a little too far in parking lots a couple times, apparently. A couple of weeks ago, the guard/shield that is behind the front bumper that runs parallel to the ground became detached from the bumper & caught the street, so I ended up dragging it some before I could stop. When I examine it, it seems that all of the holes in the bumper have been pushed through, so there's nothing good for me to anchor it to with wire ties or similar. For now -- *gasp* -- it's on with duct tape. Not quite the look I'm going for.
So, here's the thing: I don't know much about cars, don't know what the part is called, & don't know what function it really serves.
Anybody want to help this automotive idiot with the cure?
Million thanks,
Steven
