Weight of OEM Front Lip

Anyone know about how much the stock front lip spoiler weighs for the coupe? I just ordered one for my G and shipping is for supposedly 70LBS. There is no way it could weight that much! Even with proper packaging! Anyone have a clue? I love th elooks of it, but I don't want to add too much weight to the car!

lol, its like 2lbs maybe less. But the shipping company charged you a oversized price because its a BIG box. They just put that weight because of the size of the box.

He is exactly right. I work for UPS. And when boxes are large that don't weight much they charge you whats called oversized price and thats why it says 70lbs...I'm thinking hard about ordering one also. Something scrapes coming out my driveway now but its not my lip. Let me know how your scrap factor increases...

Thanks guys! It came in the next day and has been sitting in my room since. The weather has been crappy on the weekends so i haven't had the time to put it on between showers!

Not yet! The weather has been crappy and everytime it isn't, I have to help someone out with something or something else comes up! It doesn't get scratched up sitting on the rug in my room though!

Re: Weight of OEM Front Lip

Just put it on this past Friday and scrape factory hasn't been a problem. It doesn't really hang any lower than the plain factory bumper, it only extends a few inches, if that out. I have somewhat sloped driveway and haven't had any problems, but it has only been a few days.
