I ordered a $70 front lip off eBay and plan on painting it myself.

The question is will the paint be pretty close if I used a generic gloss (or flat) black from Home Depot?

I'll primer and clear it, but I want to know how different is KH3 (OB) from any generic black?

Any input or suggestions?

 

im sure everyone would tell you to do it at a shop, unless u absolutely dont care about the color difference. what about fitment issues?

 

I'm just gonna do it myself. I completely forgot that I did the grill, and it looks fine, the color difference is barely noticeable.
