Steering wheel and shift **** worn...can be replaced under warranty?

Hey guys, I was wondering what your thoughts are on replacement of the steering wheel, shift ****, and the turn signal switch udner warranty? Those things are worn and discolored...the shift **** is peeling at the silvery part on top, etc. For a car bough in 2007, I feel that this is a manufacturer's defect, considering my roommate drives a 1993 camry and its leather and shift **** still looks as it did new. What ya think?

As a side note, my logitech computer mouse had its clearcoat peeling just like the shift **** in my g35 and logitech replaced it no question. I feel like for a $40k car, this should be no issue either...but I think they would give me a hard time.

This is a stock g35x from 2007

Thanks!

Have you contacted the dealer to see about this yet?

I'm sure others would be interested in your findings.

if its just worn I doubt it. Some however have had theirs replaced because the stitching had come undone.
