I have the pair of Q45 proejctors for sale, and I think theyre a really good candidate for the G35 sedan more than anything really. there is only one problem to my knowledge. the low beam reflector for the g35's are the ones on top, the high beam reflector is the one on the bottom, correct? however, the shape of the projector is a 5" diamter circle, and that as you most know is the shape of only the bottom of the g35 housing, the top is the circle with the indentation in it from the one below. what to do? simply remove the high beam reflector from the bottom, modify it to fit the low beam bracket up top so the high beam reflector sits on top now. after than the original high beam cavity would be empty, with a perfect circle to fit the proejctor. the projector is a low beam only unit, therefore the stock wiring and ballasts for any OEM HID equipped G35 car would work without modifications.







so as you can see this project is definitly possible to those who are open minded. I have the skills to do this work, but I can help out anybody who would be interested in doing it themselves for a truly unique touch.

OMG......i was gonna do this too. I have one of the Q45 HID projectors. I have some headlights in my garage that would be good candidates for doing this!! I would do it with ya!!!

How much is a set of Q45 projectors? Is the headlight reflector removable? So the Q45 projectors would be like a plug and play mod with minimal modification to the headlight housing?

 

yeah the Q45s would fit in the bottom portion of the g35 housing without much problems. it takes some know-how on getting them to fit and aimed properly etc, but its definitly possible. since theres a lot of demand for the q45 projectors because of their rarity, they have gone for up to 950/pair in the past. Im not looking for more than around 550 for the pair. I also have ballasts and bulbs if your g35 had halogen originally. Im located near cleveland ohio
