Which is Better Way?

2005 G35 Coupe, 32K miles, brilliant silver, body completely OEM.

front fascia and OEM lip spoiler needs re-paint due to all the stone chips.

should I just have the OEM pieces re-finished or start with new, unpainted pieces?

looking for the best durability. last time I had a front fascia re-finished/re-painted, it did not hold up very well. also trying to keep cost reasonable.

either way I would be using a highly recommended local body shop.

thanks for any advice.

Have your current bumper/lip repainted but this time add a clear bra so you won't ever have this issue again. Had you asked this question last time we wouldn't be having this discussion, if that's what they call posting....LOL!

sorry, I should have mentioned that I had a clear bra on the half hood, front fenders and fascia. it was 3M, but after almost 5 years was scratched, coming up on edges and yellowing a bit so I had it removed. guess I could just have it done again.
