Pop Up Nav

Hey guys,

Does any one know how to make it so the Nav screen does not go back down every time I turn off the car?

I mean its cool but, I am not sure of the reliability of the mechanism and rather just keep it up.

Is the power cable a simple + and - for the motor to bring it up and down? Maybe you could make a switch to just cut power.

So you want it to just stay up when the car is off?

There is red and black power cable there. Just gotta remember that the whole thing is pretty tight and there isnt much space left there for wires. If you would like to run a switch a I would suggest putting it anywhere BUT the thing that actually goes up, as sooner or later the cable for the switch will get messed up and ur nav will get stuck.

Yea, I dont need it to go back down, maybe when someone is in my car to show em but thats about it. Like the 03/04s Only went up and you have to push them down.
