Looking for a place that might carry the Ings line to see in person prior to buying? Pref. in So Cal

 

I came across street concept in SoCal that sells a replica Ings kit but their website does not have the spoiler listed. So far i havent been able to come across a replica kit w/ spoiler..

I've PM someone here in the fourm (sorry bro i forgot your username) about getting the replica kit from street performance. He said that the fitment was wacky so he ended up buying the original kit.

I will definitely heed the advice...

You are right. My friend just picked up his INGS+1 Replica from Street Performance, it was absolutly HORRIBLE. The front lip does not line up with the front bumper, a LOT of gaps. The worst part is that you can't even install the lip all the way up so the air dam is flush with the lip, if you try it starts to crack. The side skirts is NOT flush with the body, and the rear bumper has rigid lines and big wide gaps on the side it does not sit flush with the rear bumper. It totally made the near $40,000 look like a piece of junk. Word of advice, DO NOT get the INGS replica, you will end up getting stuck with a poor quality and poor fitment kit.

Yeah, I have a genuine Ings+1 Kit, and fitment is nearly flawless (the actual words from the guy who installed it)... the guy said it was the best fitting body kit that he has installed....
Personally, I really wouldn't trust any replica kits for accurate fitment (but then again, I've never bought a replica before... but I have heard "horror" stories from the installers!)

I guess the bottom line here is: You get what you pay for....

i wouldn't say that all reclicas are bad... it just the street concept g35 coupe ings kit is bad, street concept might have something that is decent but the ings kit is not one of them...

 

i just purchased mine from bulletproofautomotive.com......... they have the best price possible but shipping takes a longgggg time
