Cool Can't decide on tint percentage!

I have liquid platinum, it's pretty bright, almost white during the day, and looks like the moon at night. I think 20% tint at night or on a rainy day is too dark, but is decent on a sunny day. However I think 35% tint is just right at night, but too light during the day! Can I get 25 or 35% at places???

Having a terrible time deciding, I don't wanna look gangsta, I wanna look classy and sleek and cool. Halp?

Thanks.

That was my issue. 35% gives a clean look and some slight privacy. I wanted 20% but sometimes 20% just looks WAY too dark and "gangsta". I ended up going with 35% (considering it is legal limit here in GA) and I have a lot of "dang I wish I went darker" then not too much longer I end up saying "man I'm glad I didn't". If there was an in between that would've be great.

I like 35% more when its not too sunny out! lol. And I don't like 20% when it's not sunny out.

So 35% at night/cloudy day = nice.
35% during day = ehhh.

20% at night/cloudy day = lil too dark/gangsta/whatchu hiding?
20% during day = niiice.

In numeric terms I really want 27.5%! lol. It's really the whole front windshield causing these problems, if it wasn't so clear, there wouldn't be such drastic changes of how the tint looks throughout the week.

On some level I feel 35% is more grown up? I'm not sure how to describe it. Like it's a g35 I'm driving not an srt4 so I don't really need to hide who I am. Know what I mean lol, I just want enough 'cool' on my windows without being overbearing.

I have 35%, I contemplate all the freaking time why I didn't go with the 20%, I think 20% is good, 35% is way too light for me. I don't know what you guys talking about but sometimes at night I can see in PERFECTLY.

I have 35% all around, and on sunny days, I just want to peel them off and go 20%.
In the long run, the 35% saves me the headaches with the cops...

i did 5% on the rear and 20% on the sides. Why not try 20% on the rear and 35% on the sides? Sounds like its in your ballpark. Only reason I would do the back darker is to compensate for the front windshield letting light through. This way your back window still looks about as dark as the sides from directly behind.

If I went with different tint, I'd try 35% on sides and rear sides, and 20% only on rear, not the rear sides. That way you can't see the contrast with the rear sides being darker than the sides.

But whats with the 15% increments? Is there some society of tinters who said you know what lets seperate tint by 15%. 25 or 30 would be perfect for what I'm looking for, 35% can be too light, and 20% can be too dark, only remedy is to go in between.

HAHA....for once Jibber answered a question with a real (no joke) answer, and he's correct. That would be great not too dark and 20% will keep the summer sun out of your backseat.
