I'd like to see someone tint their back window, and just their back window darker than the other windows. It would be harder to notice the change to a darker tint, since a lot of light comes in and hits the back window from the front window.

everyone please post pics of what the tint looks like on your car! i have an obsidian black g35 sedan and i'm not sure if i want to go with 20% or 35%.

 

I'd go 20% on a black car. Makes it look like the windows were painted black. I'ts nice. But on lighter cars it could look really ghetto.

I have a 2005 Lakeshore Slate G coupe and I am thinking of going all around with 35%, but I am a little worried about doing the front window. I saw Athens G's window tint, but was not sure if that was all around 35%. AthenBlue's looks very sleek. I was suprised in illinois I am able to do 35% all around. It still seems dark to me, especially if it is all around.

I am getting the tint applied next week for FREE. Guess I could do the front window also. If I don't like it I can take it off. I just wonder how it is at night.

 

I hate cops in CA, I got pulled over 2 weeks ago for window tints and I have 35% all around. Today, I got another tint ticket, even though I told him I just got one and havent had a chance to fix it yet, still gave me another one....

 

First post. (hope I didn't need to post elsewhere first) I have an 03 Desert Plat sedan. I was worried about it being to dark at first but went ahead and did the 20% all the way around and a 6" windshield strip. now i'm wishing I would have went darker and 8" on the windshield strip...

 

I have liquid platinum.
I have 30% tint all the way around, here is a few pics of it in the light, in the shade, and other variants.

Tofu, I have 35% and looks nowhere NEAR as good as yours.

I recently just went to an all G/Z meet and most of the people there had 20% and my 35% looked that much worse.

I'll be removing my tint this weekend (hopefully all goes well) and throwing on 20% next week.

Any idea what tint you're using?
I'm using Llumar all the way around. minus front windshield.

 

I just put on 25% on mine. It cost a little extra because it was a higher quality film than the 20% but it was well worth it. Can still kind of see in during the day but just dark enough at night.

I'm probably going to go back during the summer and put 50% on the windshield just to protect the dash...but I might lower it down to 40% just to make the whole car slicker. I have a Black Obsidian 2007 g and they measured the tint reader at 23% which is perfect. And looks fantastic!

 

5% tint so you cant see up in my windows!

 

I had 28% which is an odd percentage but it was either 15% or 35%.

 

If you're going to spend the $$ on tint, black it out on the rear, and get 20-35% on the 2 fronts.

I got 5% Limo tint on all my rears, and 20% on the 2 fronts.
