What do guys think about getting the chrome around the windows and door handles smoked (black chrome) as to match my emblems. This is for my g35 sedan with aero kit and hyper black rims. Your opinions are appreciated. Thanks.

 

I think it would look good. I'm not a fan of chrome myself and got black pearl emblems for my coupe.

 

i always thought the chrome trim made the car look classier. what color sedan do you have? as long as it retains its shine it should turn out nice.

 

I would be interested in seeing a black G "blacked out". Black chrome emblems and trim. I think it would be pretty sweet.

 

I have blacked out headlights.

Thanks for the comments/opinions. My sedan is black. My brother seems to agree with you...he also thinks that the chrome makes the car look classier/more elegant. He feels that I would take away from the cars look. But then again my brother and I have very different tastes. He is more of a elegant, chrome rims, no after market exhaust, stock sound system...in other words more conservative kind of guy. I am more of a sporty, modified exhaust, loud system, expensive things, attention kind of guy...but I still would like to go to a nice restaurant and not have my car stand out as if it belonged to a 17 year old guy....NOt that their is anything wrong with that...but I am 27.

I really thought it would look sweet but as my brother and I were driving home the other day we had about a 30 min discussion. He kept on pointing at civics and saying,"see that is how you car will look"..."it will loose character...blah blah." I just laughed, cause I knew he was joking, but he did make me think. This reminds me of when I was buying my car and I was looking for a blue with black leather...the dealer told me that wasn't a popular color combination. Com'on I know I don't have bad taste...I was right...don't they offer that color combination for the coupe?

Lastly, I am a bit concern about the wear of the black chrome on the door handles? Do you guys think they will hold up?
