painting the exhaust

Im eventually going to get a new exhaust but for the time being because my car is white and matte black all around except the exhaust I was thinking of getting the tips ceramic coated in matte black. But I noticed that the stock chrome tips are crimped on, do you know any place that sells tips that can replace the stock ones that come in matte black or that I can get coated.. thanks

You could hit it with some high heat paint or something? I think black exhaust tips would look like they were burnt, not like they were intentionally that way.

I would leave them chrome but if you want the cheap route. Engine paint will work but make sure you prep right or the paint will flake.

see, I was thinking that too but I saw ralph lauren's white Porsche yesterday with them (the guy I asked to do it did his) and it looked amazing. I also saw a ford f150 with it at the same shop and it looked terrible (burnt) I think the reason for it looking good or bad is if you have tips or if its just the pipe.
