Question about cutout headlight tint in California ?

Sorry I had to ask cause I couldn't find it anywhere else.

I am in California and I am gonna put Bat's headlight and taillight tint on my G35. Supposedly a full tint is illegal but I couldn't find anything about headlight tint that have cutouts for high/low/turnsignal and taillight tint with cutout for brake/turnsignal.

Are those illegal as well ? Or are they ok because none of the lights are being obstructed ?

Thank you in advance.

In California it wouldn't be a problem until a board police officer makes it a problem :T

this is true, however it is not illegal to have tinted headlights that have cutouts, the law is that if no light is being obstructed from the headlights then it is perfectly in your right to have the overlays. As far as the back lights go, I believe if the person behind you (being the cop in this question) can see your tail lights with out breaking from I believe 200 feet away your shouldn't have anything to worry about
