Anyone know of any body color filler material?
Hey guys, I've heard that there exists some type of body color filler type of deal out there. I have an issue where my ings kit mounted to the front of my car. You can see the line left where the 3M tape is sandwiched between the bumper and lip.
I'm looking for some ways to cover that up. As a temp fix, I'm thinking about touching up the tape with some touch up paint. It won't look the best, but it'll help it blend unless you're really close.
Any advice? I know molding is an option, but local shops that do good work and don't charge a fortune are pretty much non existant.
I'm trying to find a decent affordable fix.

Well, I'm going to touch up the tape with paint, just to take the edge off. There's no harm in that. Still looking for advice on the best way to "mold" the lip to the bumper.
3M or Fusor make body panel adhesives. That would be the right way to mold it. Then run a bead of bodyfiller(not Bondo brand, that stuff is garbage) along the seam and smooth it and respray the bumper.
Ive used Fusor products in the past, it pretty much tears apart urethane parts if you try to pull it apart. Like instead of the Fusor giving, it tears apart whatever you've bonded, its that strong. Works on urethane, ABS, fiberglass, metal... pretty much anything as long as you use a grinder to scuff it up first.
