So I got a little bored a whipped up some new eyelids (out of aluminum foil no less, ha) Question is, how do I go about getting them made in fiberglass? (**** vinyl, too cheap looking)((this coming from the guy who's asking about eyelids? ha))

Anyway, the only design flaw I see in our cars is the headlights look bulbous... which I suppose isnt a flaw, more or less just a dated design. Any insight would be great.

As for fiberglass eyelids, they can be purchased here on the forum from Ionic. Here is his link:

I got my eyelids from him and used some 3MM double sided tape that I bought from Home Depot to adhere them to my headlights. But only do the edges... not the middle or they will stick up like no other.

Yeah I knew you could buy eyelids, and those look teh sex, but I wanted to have my design created.... would I have to go to a body shop? Or is there a member on here who could actually fab these?

 

I don't know of any member here that can design / fab your own eyelids for you that look similar to that in fiberglass. The only eyelids that I know that come close to what your design would be the blue bat mobile overlays... but they are vinyl and you said that you don't want vinyl.

not flaming you, but the design that iconic makes flows with the lines of the hood to create the more aggressive look. the fact that your design goes past the edge of the fender isn't as cohesive to the front of the car and accentuates the fact that it's added on. my two cents.

 

yeah, im with you on that speedracer. a lot of times it takes a while of looking at something to realize it looks like **** to me haha. thanks for the input.
